Pristine's TedX Event 2023

Nurturing Equity: Rooted in Justice, Cultivating a Sustainable Environment for All was the theme for Pristine's TedX Event 2023. A theme that emerged through a laborious process of determining a key issue affecting everyone on the planet today. Under the direction of the curators and event managers, a combined effort was made with regular communication between the operations, social media, logistics, and finance teams to help organize an unforgettable event! The objective was to foster productive dialogue on the subject of environmental equity and its relationship to economic injustices associated with class-conscious societies, hoping to facilitate a focus on sustainable provisions based on the so-called definitive strata of society.

Six speakers participated in the event that finally arrived on June 23, 2023; this included Anthony Dwaine, a young aspirant environmentalist who explored the avenues of working toward a sustainable future. Aisha Mir, focused on how people can impact their surroundings through acts as minor as using cosmetics, engaging listeners with her very own artistic expression, "Artienfique," to help inspire a more conscious youth. Muhammad Aziz, one of Pristine's very own alumni, returned to explain his architectural endeavors and how closely related they were to achieving sustainability, serving as an inspiration for everyone in their future ventures. Moreover, Areej Syed, a motivated student, assisted in directly reaching the audience by discussing the topic of fast fashion and how we as individuals can help embrace minimalism to enable change. Matteo Boffa then spoke, sharing his stories and experiences as an ecopreneurs while working towards making an impact with new ideas and challenges. The event was finally brought to a close by Dua Zafar, a personification of altruism, who shared her words to empower the young individuals before her, showcasing her achievements to act as a guiding light to each and every individual to harness their capabilities and help ignite change.

Beautiful Bundles was a special organizer who contributed to sponsoring the event; as a result of their support, tokens of appreciation that were made from recycled materials and served as a constant reminder of all the event stood for could be made. Successfully, Pristine's TedX was able to leave the audience, made up of the future leaders of the world, with a glimmer of inspiration, allowing them to reflect on their interactions with the wider world and review the scope of their career pathways in contributing to this mission.
