A Whole New World

When you’re angry, irritated or sad,

Or you’re down or maybe just feeling bad,

That’s when you want to escape,

To show the world who you are under your cape.

 You feel like going to some other place,

A new person wearing a new face,

Somewhere you can be yourself,

A world with everything from giants to elves,

A world which only existed in your imagination,

Made with hard work, endurance and dedication.

There’s no unnecessary law or legislation,

Like going to school for ‘education’

Don’t you want to go there?

Escape from lives challenges and nightmares,

 Don’t you want to see the mystical creatures?

A spectacular world with amazing features?

A world that’s sure to astound you,

Which amazes all the fairies and the gnomes too,

A place where fun was meant to be had,

You won’t find anyone depressed or sad.

A land without tensions or worries,

Where all distress, the fun buries,

A world in which you are royalty,

With workers that deeply value loyalty.

Where all the animals can talk,

Your castle will have no lock,

There is no black, or white, or grey

There is no predator or no prey,

A world where everyone feels special and free,

A world where I’m not ashamed to be me,

That’s the world I want to see,

Where my story lives through eternity.
